Setting the standard in CRRT

The multiFiltratePRO is a new generation CRRT device building on the substantial experience with the multiFiltrate and the successfully integrated Ci-Ca® regional anticoagulation. Patients receiving CRRT with regional citrate anticoagulation benefit from less bleeding, long filter running times and lower blood product requirements.

Integrated safety features

Integrated fluid heaters: Keeping the patient continuously warm - Fully integrated heaters for the substituate and dialysate keep the patient warm even at high flows.
Hygienic design: Separation of fresh and used fluids - Design with separation of fresh fluids at the top and used fluids at the bottom of the device provides hygienic operation.
Electrical safety fulfils the highest standards: Reliable use with central venous catheters - With respect to electrical safety, the multiFiltratePRO satisfies the safety class CF*. The multiFiltratePRO is approved for parallel use of defibrillators which may be required in the ICU.

Although convective therapies are prescribed to efficiently remove larger solutes, continuous monitoring of the clearance of small solutes is essential towards evaluating overall treatment efficiency. The Online Clearance Monitor (OCM®) of the 5008S assures dialysis dose targets are attained.

Additionally, the therapy option Blood Temperature Monitor (BTM) further improves the quality of treatment through regulation of core body temperature, thereby improving haemodynamic stability.

Safety, Convenience and Reliability

DIASAFE plus ensures ultra pure dialysate:

Quality and purity of dialysis fluid are critical to successful dialysis
HD patients are typically exposed to 12,000 - 19,000 litres of dialysate per year
Micro-contaminants such as endotoxin fragments can enter the blood compartment with undesirable consequences such as inflammation and other acute complications such as hypotension
Ultrafitration of fresh dialysate by the DIASAFE® plus is performed immediately upstream of the dialyzer: this removes the risk of patient exposure to bacterial microcontaminants
Whether performing high-flux or low-flux dialysis, the risk of endotoxin transfer can be minimized by using the DIASAFE® plus
